The Louisa Volunteer Fire Department was organized in 1924. The Department is a non-profit organization providing the Town of Louisa and the County of Louisa with needed volunteer firefighting personnel, assets and resources. Company One is a combination department working alongside professional firefighting and ems personel provided by Louisa County. Together we provide firefighting and emergency support services. We operate out of one station that is located in the center of a mixed urban/suburban/rural area.
